Software as a Service (SaaS) - All of Oversight-Inc’s “Checker” Services follow a business model known as Software as a Service (SaaS). Unlike a generic SaaS, Oversight-Inc also provides and supports all the data collection hardware that you will need to make your “Checker” Service work smoothly.

The SaaS model takes “on premises” software and moves it to an externally “hosted” environment where it is totally supported by the service company.

This model has been around for several years, but its growth has been accelerated with the advent of cloud computing. The model is being embraced by a wide variety of businesses. The value stems from a mix of business, financial, and security reasons, including:

Software Design – Oversight-Inc specifically designed our software architecture to be highly flexible. Part of that architecture includes a powerful, flexible report writer.

Therefore since we host your software (SaaS), we can create, refine, and maintain a “Checker” Service just for you. The need to involve your own IT support should be very limited. We do the following:

  • Oversight serves as your own “Checker” IT department, both for software and hardware.
  • There is no need to host, maintain or update the software.
  • We set up your data base reflecting your company’s specific organizational structure.
  • We create performance reports to meet your company’s management needs


Hardware – While “Checkers” do require data collection hardware, Oversight will procure that for you. We are not exclusive to any one manufacturer and will offer objective recommendations based on your operating environment.

Ease of Operation – One of our foremost goals was to make each “Checker” EASY to set up, operate and retrieve reports.
